Film stars flock to Nepal Art Council

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Actress Priyanka Karki, who is busy with the promotion of her new movie ‘Chhakka Panja’ of late, was spotted at the Babarmahal-based Nepal Art Council on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Actress Priyanka Karki, who is busy with the promotion of her new movie ‘Chhakka Panja’ of late, was spotted at the Babarmahal-based Nepal Art Council on Saturday.



She was there to observe the best photographs that were selected for exhibition from the IME Global IME Nepal Photo Contest 2016 that was organized by Photo Journalists Club.



She gave a remark after scanning some 150 selected photos for the exhibition.



“All the photographs are excellent and eye-catching which give a vivid picture of our country,” said Karki.



She also had chitchat with actress Deepa Shree Niraula while observing the winning photo of the competition that was taken by Deepak Bajracharya.



“People were in fear as the earthquake struck, it’s wonderful to capture such a moment and win the competition,” she remarked.



She even clicked some photographs from her mobile.



Likewise, film artists Najir Husen, Reshma Gurung and Niraula among others were also spotted at the exhibition.



There are as many as 150 photographs on display at the event which was started from Thursday at Nepal Art Council.
