Financial aid for flood victims

BARDIYA, August 19:  Heifer International Nepal (HIN) has started to provide relief materials to the victim families affected by the recent flooding in the Babai river.

BARDIYA, August 19:  Heifer International Nepal HIN) has started to provide relief materials to the victim families affected by the recent flooding in the Babai river.


HIN announced that it is going to provide Rs.3, 000,000 as a financial aid to the victim families for their day to day survival. “A strong support to 3 thousand 3 hundreds and 45 families through Nepal Food Corporation have already received necessary food items for their survival” said head of  HIN Durga Kc. He further added that each family has received 10 kg rice, 1 and half kg oil and 1 packet salt through NFC.

According to Shovakanta Poudel, an employee of HIN said that “ Thapuwa, Deuda and Gulariya municipalities have been receiving necessary aid through HIN”.


During 2014 also, HIN had supported Babai flood victims.
