KATHMANDU, June 19: The national flag and the flag of Nepal Scouts were hoisted at a function held at the Nepal's Scouts headquarters in Lainchaur today to mark the 64th founding day of Nepal Scouts.
Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal hoisted the national flag and Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scouts Rabin Dahal hoisted the scouts flag. On the occasion, Minister Mandal lauded the important role of scouts in producing citizens dutiful towards the society and nation.

Nepal Scouts was founded in 2009 B.S. and has networks in all the districts across the country. Presently, there are about 50,000 active scouts in Nepal. RSS
