BHAKTAPUR, July 20: Chairman of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe on Tuesday said that changing a government with a greed of the prime ministerial post will prove lethal to the country.
Speaking at a function in the district, he said, “It’s wrong to withdraw support to the government for not getting the prime ministerial post. The CPN (Maoist Center) should have clarified the reason for abandoning the government.”
Saying that an agreement reached between Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) on running the government on a rotation basis was not appropriate for the country, Bijukchhe remarked that parties should unite in developing the country rather than being in power.
He said that there are constitutional hurdles in forming a new government, adding that the formation a new government will be delayed due to the hindrances.
