High-profile convict Basnet moved to flimsy Mustang jail
Basnet was taken to Pokhara in a flight of Buddha air at 10 am on Monday. Handcuffed, Basnet’s hand had been covered by a brown jacket.
He has been taken to Mustang via Pokhara-Beni-Korala road from Pokhara airport in a vehicle with Nepal Police on-board.
According to Chief District Officer of Kaski District, Kaski police will return only after handing him to Mustang police.
Meanwhile, Basnet’s family has been worried with his transfer. Basent’s wife Maya Sherchan reached Pokhara upon receiving information about her husband’s transfer all of a sudden.
