Gaurika Singh becomes first Nepali swimmer to win three golds

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Gaurika Singh became the first Nepali swimmer to win three golds in the swimming competition at the 13th South Asian Games on Sunday. She also broke her previous national record on the day.

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Gaurika Singh became the first Nepali swimmer to win three golds in the swimming competition at the 13th South Asian Games on Sunday. She also broke her previous national record on the day.

At the Satdobato Swimming Complex, Singh completed the women’s 400 meters freestyle event with a timing of 4:25.28 minutes to clinch three golds which no Nepali swimmer was able to achieve at the SAG. She defeated the Indian opponent during the competition.
