KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Business leaders have called for a need to initiate a Challenge Fund for improving Nepal's standing in Doing Business Report and reducing the time taken for businesses to enter and exit the market.

Speaking at an interaction organized by Samriddhi Foundation to mark 'Global Entrepreneurship Week' in the capital on Thursday, they said that the government should also frame clear regulations on venture capital and private equity in the country.

"The government should create a flexible policy environment that spreads hope, not fear among aspiring business persons," Deependra Chaulagain, the director at Samriddhi Foundation, said.
