KATHMANDU, Feb 8: The price of gold increased by Rs 500 per tola on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold went up by Rs 500 to Rs 93,100 in the domestic market. The yellow metal was traded for Rs 92,600 per tola on Monday.
Gold price rises by Rs 800 per tola
The price of standard gold rose from Rs 92,100 per tola on Monday to Rs 92,600 per tola on Tuesday.
Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1,260 per tola from Rs 1,255 per tola on Monday.
Likewise, gold is trading at around USD 1,819 per ounce in international markets today.
The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
