'Government ready to hold local poll'

PANCHATHAR, Jan 26: Minister of State for Local Development Shree Prasad Jabegu has said the government was ready to conduct the local poll. 


Speaking at a press meet organized by the Press Centre, Panchthar today, the State Minister claimed the announcement of the date for local poll would take place by the next 15 days.

The constitution would enter the enforcement phase with the holding of the local election. He further said talks and discussions at the political-level were going on regarding the holding of the election of local bodies which was the necessity of the hour. RSS
