Govt calls interested medical colleges to operate COVID-19 vaccine centers

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The government has granted permission to all the medical colleges in the country to operate COVID-19 vaccine centers in their premises.

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The government has granted permission to all the medical colleges in the country to operate COVID-19 vaccine centers in their premises. 


Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, joint spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, issuing a statement on Monday said that the government has given authority to the private hospitals above 50-beds to set up COVID-19 vaccine centers.

The medical colleges and the private hospital having over 50 beds can coordinate with the public health institutions in the respective districts to provide vaccination services to the citizens of Nepal above 18 years.


The vaccination service will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM at the vaccine center depending on the availability of the vaccines.
