Talking to media persons after the cabinet meeting, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the spokesperson of the government, said the government has expressed serious concern over the recent political development in Afghanistan and has decided to evacuate Nepali nationals living there soon. “The government has also decided to direct authorities concerned to act accordingly,” he said.

Similarly, the government has already asked all Nepali nationals currently living in Afghanistan to come to the contact of the government.

Those living in Afghanistan and wanting to return home can now register their name and provide other relevant details in the official website of the Department of Consular.
