Govt. striving to implement constitution: Minister Jagebu

DAMAK, Oct 18: The first international Limbu students' convention of the Limbu Students' Forum has kicked off here Tuesday. The three-day convention has some 400 Limbu students as participants from the country and abroad.

DAMAK, Oct 18: The first international Limbu students' convention of the Limbu Students' Forum has kicked off here Tuesday. The three-day convention has some 400 Limbu students as participants from the country and abroad. 



Inaugurating the convention, Minister of State for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Shree Prasad Jagebu said the government was effortful to implement the constitution by conducting elections in all three levels. 



Elections are essential to implement constitution, he said, adding that everyone could prepare atmosphere for the election of the new representatives and ensure peace and prosperity in the country. 



Chief Whip of CPN-ML Aindra Sundar Nembang, former general secretary of the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities, Anjkaji Sherpa, and others extended best wishes to the convention. RSS
