Grand ceremony planned for Indian President's reception in Janakpur

MAHENDRANAGAR (Dhanusha), Oct 18: For the upcoming state visit by Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, a grand reception is being planned in Janakpur. 



The Indian President will be visiting Nepal from November 2 to 4. The District Administration Office (DAO), Dhanusha organized an all-party meeting during which the minute choreography was planned to allow the public to come out of their residences to welcome the visiting Indian President by waving the national flags of the two countries. 



The Janakpur Sub Metropolis will also organize a civic reception at the historic Janaki temple for President Mukherjee. 



The all-party meeting was attended by Dhanusha's Chief District Officer (CDO), Dillip Kumar Chapagain, and representatives of the political parties, Extensive Janakpur Area Development Council, Janakpur Sub Metropolis and District Development Committee, Dhanusha. 



During the three-day visit at the invitation of Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Indian President Mukherjee is scheduled to visit Janakpur, Lumbini and Pokhara. 



The Indian President will attend a civic reception after offering prayers at the Janaki temple. The civic reception will be followed by a program to lay the foundation stone for construction of the postal highway after which the Indian President will return to Kathmandu. RSS
