Serious ‘negligence’ in Nirmala probe: High-level panel
According to the committee’s coordinator joint secretary at the home ministry Hari Prasad Mainali, the report has detailed information on the case. “There are a few points. For instance, it was not necessary to open fire during the mass protest. Secondly, negligence was apparent on the part of the police while collecting the evidence in the beginning,” said Mainali. “We have also named a prime suspect in the report. We cannot reveal the name right now,” he added.
