KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Himalaya Airlines and Yeti Airlines have joined hands for network integration, expansion of sales growth and gradual extension of support in e-commerce functionalities of both the companies.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the Himalaya Airlines said that the strategic business partnership agreement includes airlines inventory for ticket issuance and ancillary products. “It is aimed at facilitating different passenger segments of both airlines making their products available in each other’s websites for easy accessibility; however the implementation process will take some time for completion,” the statement reads.

Himalaya Airlines is currently operating international flights to various destinations in Middle East Asia and South Asia whereas Yeti Airlines is a scheduled passenger airline operating flights to various domestic destinations in Nepal.
According to the statement, Vijay Shrestha, vice president at Himalaya Airlines, said, “Today’s alliance is our first step toward a strategic partnership between Himalaya and Yeti to explore new avenues to expand business. Capitalizing on our digital tie up, we hope this agreement shall maximise sales and revenue potential.”
Similarly, Anoj Rimal, chief executive officer of Yeti Airlines, was quoted as saying, “With this partnership, passengers of both airlines get added benefits.”
Through the websites of both airlines, passengers can book connecting flights of their choice both nationally and internationally in the selective destinations where Yeti Airlines, Tara Air and Himalaya Airlines operate flights.
