Home Minister Nidhi distributes relief to fire victims

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Saturday has distributed relief to the victims of fire that broke out at Sakranti Bazaar of Terhathum.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Saturday has distributed relief to the victims of fire that broke out at Sakranti Bazaar of Terhathum.


On the occasion, Minister Nidhi has assured the fire survivors to provide concessional loan for the reconstruction of their fire-ravaged houses.

Home Minister Nidhi, who reached the fire-torn area with the lawmakers from Terhathum district, expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured the victims of the government support at this grief-stricken moment.


The fire victims were provided with tent, clothes, food stuffs and utensils as relief materials.


The fire on Friday had engulfed 25 houses at Sakranti Bazaar of the district and rendered 75 families displaced from the area. A decision was made to immediately provide relief of Rs 10,000 each to the displaced households. RSS
