KATHMANDU, July 30: Huawei has said that its global market share of smartphones priced US$ 500 and above has seen a dramatic increase to nearly nine percent this year.
Issuing a statement, the company said that its sales revenue in the first six month of 2017 increased by 36.2 percent to 105.4 billion Chinese Yuan. In the first quarter of 2017, Huawei's market share rose to 9.8 percent of the global smartphone market, according to industry analysts IDC, the company said in the statement.
