KATHMANDU, March 14: Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd is set to organize annual Hyundai Open Golf Tournament this Friday and Saturday, at Gokarna Golf Resort in Kathmandu. The company made the announcement at a press meet in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The open tournament will be played in 18 hole on stable hold and ¾ handicap formats. Approximately, 130 golfers will be competing in the tournament.
Hyundai Open Golf on March 6-7
Apart from top three finishers, the best gross, women’s winner, senior winner (60 years and above), junior winner (17 years and below), Hyundai-owners category winner, longest drive, closest to the pin and most birdies categories will also be awarded with appropriate cash prizes.
Hyundai has also promoted PGA tour and tournament of the champions as one of the world’s prestigious tournaments, according to information given at the press meet.
