KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal has lost to Oman by six wickets in their second match in the ICC World Cricket League 2 held at Windhoek in Namibia on Friday.
Chasing the 139-run target set by Nepal, Oman achieved it in 35.1 overs, with 89 balls remaining .
Oman’s player Aqib Ilyas made highest 46 runs studded with five runs in 53 balls, VS Wategaonkar took 37 runs including one six in 71 balls while Jatinder Singh contributed 24 runs including three fours in 40 balls.

In reply, Nepal's S Lamichhane took two wickets of Oman giving away 29 runs in 10 overs, B Regmi and Sompal Kami claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, sent in to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal had made 138 runs losing all wickets in 46/50 overs.
Sarad Vesawkar top-scored with 22 runs including two fours off 39 balls in 22 overs, Dipendra Singh Airee made 20 runs including three fours off 32 balls before being bowled out by Khawar Ali while Dilip Nath contributed 19 runs with three fours off 49 balls.
Electing to field after winning the toss, Oman’s player Kaleemullah claimed highest four wickets giving away 28 runs in 10 overs, piling pressure on Nepali side.
Similarly, Bilal Khan grabbed two wickets at the cost of 13 runs in nine overs while JA Odedra, Khawar Ali and Fiaz Bhutt made 1 wicket each.
A total of six teams - Nepal, Oman, Namibia, Canada, UAE and Kenya - are participating in the Division Two league since Thursday.
The top two teams will qualify for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe from March 4 to 25.
The 18-match tournament will take place across three venues in Windhoek - Wanderers, Affies and United Ground.
