WASHINGTON, Aug 3: International Nepali Journalist Association (INJA) an umbrella organization of Nepali journalists working globally has been formed in the United States.

The association has been told as a non-profit alliance, according to a press statement issued after the formation of INJA. The association is led by Virginia-based journalist Gunaraj Luitel.
Organizing a press meet on Wednesday in Fairfax, Virginia, the officials have informed that the association has been established to enhance the skill and strength of Nepali journalists and journalist organizations globally. Ramchandra Kharel and Yogesh Upadhyaya have been named as the board of trustees. Nepali journalists, who are working around the world, including Nepal, have been elected to the various posts of the association.
