A total of 3,100 votes were cast in the municipality-1 and the vote count is currently underway, said municipal election officer Sharada Raut. The vote count started at 2AM on Saturday after the May 13 local election concluded on Friday, he said, adding that vote count in the ward will conclude by this evening.

The lack of enough space at the office of election officer has been blamed for the delay. Discussions were underway to find additional space for the vote count, he said.
