KATHMANDU, Sept 9: The third edition of Jhamsikhel Street Festival is happening on Saturday, September 10. Jointly organized by Jhamsikhel Youth Club and The British School, this one-day street festival takes place only once in four years.
Veteran marathon runner Baikuntha Manandhar will be felicitated during the festival’s inauguration program, the organizers said.

This edition will feature both Nepali and international musicians. The list of artists includes popular lok dohori singers Komal Oli and Badri Pangeni to rock bands Mukti and the Revival, Cobweb and Anuprastha. Visitors will also get to see some stand-up comedy from popular comedian Sandip Chettri.
According to the organizers, the festival will also have regular attractions like food stalls, face painting stalls, handicraft stalls and carnival games.
Visitors wouldn’t be charged with any entry fee.
