Kathmandu: Balen Shah leading mayoral race with 19,000 plus votes

KATHMANDU, May 18: Independent candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayorship Balen Shah has received over 19,000 votes in the ongoing vote counting.

KATHMANDU, May 18: Independent candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayorship Balen Shah has received over 19,000 votes in the ongoing vote counting.

As per the results till 9:45 PM, Shah has received 19,081 votes while his closest rival Keshav Sthapit of the CPN-UML has received 9,827 votes. Similarly, Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Sirjana Singh has received 8,893 votes.
