POKHARA, Jan 9: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Shashanka Koirala has argued that the prime responsibility of the state is to hold all three levels of elections for implementing the constitution.
Laying the foundation stone for the under-construction BP Memorial Park at Paschimanchal Engineering Campus at Lamachaur in Pokhara on Monday, leader Koirala reiterated NC's stance on constitution-mandated elections at local, provincial and centre levels to bring into effect the new national statute.
Mentioning that economic development and prosperity were the top priorities of the government where NC is a part of it, he urged his cadres to remain active for the local body elections mandated to be held by April this year. RSS
