“Prosperity is impossible without sound plans; discussions are being held at present at the district level for the formulation of five-year plans. This task would also be completed within this year,” Chief Minister Pokhrel said, adding that the provincial government would carry out development works in a systematic manner by formulating sound plans.

Stating that the provincial government was becoming the center of hope of the people for fulfilling their aspiration but was hamstrung by the lack of physical infrastructures and employees, he said the federal government should have provided 2,800 employees to the province but has only assigned 700 employees so far.

The Chief Minister described the Contribution-based Social Security Plan announced by the federal government on Tuesday as the beginning of a new era in the country as it guaranteed social security to the laborers working in the private sector as well. RSS
