Left Alliance directs all parliamentarians to vote

KATHMANDU, Mar 11: The Left Alliance has directed all parliamentarians to cast their votes in favor of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

KATHMANDU, Mar 11: The Left Alliance has directed all parliamentarians to cast their votes in favor of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.


Oli, the country’s 38th prime minister is seeking vote of confidence today at the House of Representatives today.

Of the total 274 eligible votes, Oli will receive 209 votes from the Left Alliance, 121 and 53 from UML and Maoist Center respectively. Likewise, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (with 16 votes), Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (16 votes), Rastriya Janamorcha, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and an independent candidate (with one each votes) will also support the Oli led government.  


This is the only government that will be formed with two third majority in the parliament after 2015 BS.
