SIRAHA, Feb 23: A woman injured in an attack by her son two days ago succumbed on Thursday night in Siraha, the police said.
Ram, 28, of Laxmipur Patari-4 had allegedly attacked his mother Gyan Devi Das, 45, and 16-year-old sister Sunita Kumari with an iron rod over a family dispute, said the local people.

Gyan Devi died in the course of treatment at Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital. Sunita Kumari is receiving treatment at the hospital, said the Area Police Office, Laxmipur.
The accused in the incident has been arrested, and further investigations are underway, according to the office. RSS
