KATHMANDU (REPU-BLICA): A team of board of directors and representatives from the Management Association of Nepal (MAN) has met finance minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada on Friday. The meeting was organized to congratulate Khatiwada on his appointment as the finance minister. The MAN delegation discussed economic prosperity of the country and other financial matters with the minister.
"The MAN should now support government in policy-making in provincial level as well since the country has formally entered into a federal structure," said Khatiwada in the meeting. "The government wants to coordinate with the association to clear out defects in policy, increasing financial literacy, and financial plans."

President of the association, Sushil Bhatta, informed the minister that the association was expanding its horizons and would play an important role in socio-economic development of all the provinces.
Management Association of Nepal (MAN) is the apex body of Nepal's management professionals with active support of the corporate sector in the country. It has a strong membership base of over 2500 individuals and 250 institutions from different disciplines and sectors of Nepalese economy and society.
