Marsyangdi River crosses danger level

KATHMANDU, July 1: Due to incessant rains, the Marsyangdi River in Bimalnagar in Bandipur of Tanahu has crossed the danger level. The Marsyangdi River has crossed the danger level today due to the rain since Tuesday.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has asked people around the area to be vigilant as the river may flood the coastal areas and low places due to heavy rainfall for the last six hours. The river has crossed the danger level at Gharedhunga, Rainastar and other places in Lamjung.
