KATHMANDU, April 21: The meeting between United Democratic Madhesi Front(UDMF) and the government held on Friday morning has concluded with an agreement to discuss the issues raised by UMMF at the next meeting scheduled to be held by evening today.
At the meeting , Madhes-based parties had reiterated their previous stance on constitutional issues.
PM to hold meeting with UDMF leaders for consensus today
PM Dahal informed Madhes-centric parties that he would hold a discussion on their demands with the ruling parties.
“We are ready to participate in the local polls if the government is ready to amend the constitution in a revised form. We have requested the government to give us the basis for constitution amendment”, Laxman Lal Karna”, said a leader of Nepal Janata Party leader.
“Provincial delineation commission is acceptable but how can we believe that it will carry out the responsibilities assigned? “ , asked Karna.
