Mega Bank launches new saving scheme

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Mega Bank has launched an initiative to encourage savings among people. The initiative named "Nanima Lageko Baani: Aja Bachau – Jindagi Bhari Ramau" was introduced on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Mega Bank has launched an initiative to encourage savings among people. The initiative named "Nanima Lageko Baani: Aja Bachau – Jindagi Bhari Ramau" was introduced on Monday.


Mega Bank has launched this initiative to keep up with the Government of Nepal’s stated objective to promote the use of banking channels throughout all strategy of society, across the nation. The Bank has appointed captain of Nepali cricket team, Paras Khadka and leading Nepali actress, Priyanka Karki as the face of the campaign who are also named as 'Mega Saving Stars'.

The intent of this campaign is to establish a saving habit from the very beginning among youths and also targeting the education sector. The campaign's main purpose is to persuade the school and college students of the country to initiate a banking habit by starting a 'Mega Sambandha' by opening of their saving accounts with the help of media and Mega Saving Stars.


Issuing a statement, the company mentions that this initiative will not only benefit the bank, but also the society and the nation as a whole from the enhanced savings culture amongst all Nepalis.
