Minister Giri vows to make efforts to reopen Tulsipur Airport

TULSIPUR (Dang), Sept 7: Minister for Irrigation Deepak Giri has said he was committed to the development of Dang. 



Addressing a program organized in his hometown on Wednesday by the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his welcome and honor, the Irrigation Minister vowed to make efforts officially and individually to reopen Tulsipur Airport that has presently remained closed. 



The closure of the airport had caused inconvenience to the Dang folks, he said, adding that he was aware of this fact. 



He further stated that he was effortful to get started blacktopping of the Tulsipur-Surkhet road section. 



On the occasion, he was offered a garland weighing 51 kilogrammes in his honour on behalf of the entire business community in the district. 



He pledged his continuous support to ensure the rights of business community. 

Chamber President Bimal Rijal chaired the program. 



Meanwhile, the Tulsipur Municipality welcomed Minister Giri who was in his hometown for the first time after he became the minister amidst a program today itself. 



On the occasion, he directed the Municipality employees to render fast and prompt services to the people and allocate the development projects to all wards in a proportional way. RSS
