Monitoring team destroys expired food along the Prithvi Highway

DHADING, June 5: Large quantity of expired foods such as noodles, biscuits, juice and junk foods were seized and destroyed during a surprise market monitoring at the Prithvi Highway, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Dholak Raj Dhakal.

DHADING, June 5: Large quantity of expired foods such as noodles, biscuits, juice and junk foods were seized and destroyed during a surprise market monitoring at the Prithvi Highway, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Dholak Raj Dhakal. 


The District Monitoring Committee, Dhading has launched a market monitoring since yesterday where.

The team also siezed and destroyed liquor from 10 illegal liquor shops. 


The monitoring that aims to address public complaints that eateries and shops especially offering services to passengers travelling to the central capital Kathmandu and other parts of the country are selling date-expired goods will continue, said Dhading's Chief District Officer Bhagirath Pandey.
