"Yes, I have decided to engage in a debate myself by taking off the logo of MP," Dr Singh told Republica.

Stating that he feels unable to do justice to the people as a member of parliament, he expressed, "I am doing this to alleviate the pain of the people and to address the injury to their souls."

He emphasized that he is taking this step to fulfill the duty of a citizen since he believes he is missing out on protecting the country as a parliamentarian. He said, “I have gathered all the evidence related to the sale and purchase of Ncell-Axiata.”

According to the legal system of the country, after six years, Ncell should automatically be owned by the Government of Nepal.

Under the country's legal system, Ncell should automatically be owned by the Government of Nepal after six years. However, shares have been bought and sold before that, and the transactions are considered unusual. The motive behind buying and selling at this time, when the company's value is much lower than its real value, appears to be clear – causing more damage to the country, according to experts. Previous transactions involving Ncell have sparked controversy, leading to a reevaluation process and the initiation of tax reassessment.
