DAMAULI, Dec 8: The eastern part of the Mugling-Pokhara road expansion project has witnessed 42 percent progress. The road expansion project is in implementation to widen the Prithvi Highway to four lanes.
The progress has been made in the road section stretching from Anbukhaireni to Jamune of Tanahun.
The project's eastern section Engineer Bishnu Prasad Pandey said that the task of blacktopping has started along the expanded section of the road. He shared that one way blacktopping has been so far done on a nine kilometers section of the 41.5-km stretch.

Likewise, the task of blacktopping an additional five kilometers of road has started since Wednesday.
The blacktopping of the road from Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality-3, Gaunpalika Chowk to Markichowk has started, he shared.
Earlier, blacktopping of 3.5 kilometers of road section from Anbu Khaireni-1 Satrashaya to Markichowk was completed.
According to the project, the task of blacktopping has advanced in a way to complete it within the next 15 days.
