Taking part in the deliberations, Bhairab Sundar Shrestha, Shekhar Kumar Singh, Bhagawati Neupane and Bimala Ghimire, who have suggested amendments to the policies, defended the amendment proposals.
They alleged that the recent local level elections were held in an unjust manner despite the government's claim that they were held in a peaceful environment. Amendments have also been sought regarding the government’s decision to exclude over 1,400 road projects introduced by the erstwhile government led by K P Oli. The deliberations on the policies and programs are still ongoing.
