KATHMANDU, June 2: Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) is starting Nepal China Sales Mission 2017 in different Chinese cities from next week.

The mission will be organized in China's cities like Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Beijing.

NATTA has said that the preparations for the mission have already been completed.

The umbrella body of Nepali travel agents and tour operators is sending a 32-member team for the sales mission on June 7. Representatives from travel/tour, hotels and trekking business are in the team.

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Nepali Embassy in China are jointly coordinating the mission. Several power point presentations will be made to promote Nepali tourism products and services in China, according to a statement issued by NATTA. “There will also be B2B sessions between Nepali representatives and Chinese buyers,” the statement added.

Officials of NATTA believe that the sales mission will help to bring more Chinese tourists to Nepal. Barun Mehta, the coordinator of the mission and the executive member of NATTA, said that main objective of the mission is to promote Nepal in China.

NATTA has already participated in international marts like FITUR in Madrid, Spain, MATTA International Travel Fair in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and BTTF in Dhaka, Bangladesh this year.
