NC collecting lawmakers’ signatures to file no confidence motion against Oli

KATHMANDU, July 13: The Nepal Congress is preparing to register a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the Parliament on Wednesday.


Signatures of those lawmakers who have not signed the motion yet are being collected, NC lawmaker Pradip Parajuli twitted.

According to sources the no confidence motion against PM Oli will be registered in Parliament today itself.


The NC has already decided to support the new government led by CPN (Maoists Center) in line with the seven-point pact reached between the two parties.


The NC and the Maoist Center togetehr have 288  seats in Parliament. They need  the support of 10 more lawmakers to form a simple majority  government.
