UML likely to field Nembang as PM candidate
VC Khaniya said that he did not ask NC to recommend his name for the elections nor has he received any official letter from the party.
When asked whether he would contest the polls if fielded as candidate, Khaniya said, "I can't say anything about it now." He added that he is currently focused only on his job at the university.
VC Khaniya had courted controversy for plagiarising an article from a foreign writer and publishing it in the periodcal of Nepal English Language Teachers' Association.
