Deuba will leave for India to take part in a seminar to be organized in Goa by the India Foundation, a New Delhi-based think-tank that focuses on the issues, challenges and opportunities of the Indian polity.

“This is the President’s pre-scheduled program. This should not be viewed in connection with the other issues,” said a source close to Deuba.

Deuba will hold a high-level political meeting in New Delhi after taking part in the seminar in Goa. He will engage in political meetings on November 5 and 6.

Earlier, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had also attended a program organized by India Foundation during his recent India visit.

India Foundation and Vibekananda International Foundation are considered close to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
