NC should unite for democratic norms, values: Deuba

KATHMANDU, Sept. 29: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked all the cadres and leaders of the NC to abide by party discipline for the protection of democratic norms and values.

KATHMANDU, Sept. 29: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked all the cadres and leaders of the NC to abide by party discipline for the protection of democratic norms and values. 


At a programme organized by Nepali Congress Achham-Kathmandu Liaison Committee, Deuba said that the NC could not fight against anti-democratic forces if the party was not disciplined.

Likewise, NC general secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala stressed the need for unity in the party cadres and asked them to visit the people at their doorsteps by publicizing the achievements made under the NC-led governments in the past on development of roads, infrastructures, education, health and banking sectors. 


NC leaders Dr Prakash Sharan Manat, NP Saud, lawmaker Ambika Thapa, and others too expressed their opinions during the event.
