KATHMANDU, Dec 14: A delegation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) on Wednesday met with CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and congratulated him for the success of his party and the left alliance in recent parliamentary and provincial elections. Issuing a statement on Wednesday, NCC said that the delegation led by its president Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and discussed with him about the to-be formed government's plans.

"The delegation apprised Oli of its expectations on formation of a stable government focused on achieving economic prosperity," the chamber added in the statement. NCC also urged the former prime minister to maintain a balanced diplomatic relations with India and China.
"Responding to the delegation, Oli said that the prolonged political transition has now come to an end and that the new government will creating investment-friendly environment in the country to prople the country on the path of economic development," the chamber added in the statement. Oli also assured the delegation that tax rates would not be increased, according to the statement.
