NEA decreases load-shedding (with schedule)

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on Thursday decreased load-shedding hours.

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on Thursday decreased load-shedding hours.


According to the new timetable unveiled by NEA, there will be power cut up to 48 hours weekly. Earlier, there was power cut up to 63 hours weekly.

NEA said that one hour additional load-shedding will be imposed in the area with power leakage ranging from 30 to 35 per cent and addition of 6 hours in the area with power leakage over 70 per cent.
