NEA introduces installment payment option for street light dues of local govts

KATHMANDU, June 30: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has introduced an installment payment option for street light dues, addressing long-standing unpaid fees.

KATHMANDU, June 30: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has introduced an installment payment option for street light dues, addressing long-standing unpaid fees.


The NEA now offers an installment facility for up to 60 months for electricity tariff arrears. To utilize this option, the local governments must apply within 45 days of the notice.

In the notice issued on Sunday, the NEA has instructed the local authorities to contact the relevant distribution center to apply for the installment facility.
