Neil Nitin Mukesh to fast for Rukmini on Karwa Chauth

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be fasting along his fiancee Rukmini Sahay on the occasion of Karwa Chauth.


“Rukmini is quite traditional in her upbringing and I would like to support her wherever I can,” Neil said in a statement.


According to a source close to the actor, there will be a traditional ceremony at Neil’s south Mumbai residence. He will also gift her special pair of handcrafted Kundan bangles.

Neil, the grandson of legendary singer Mukesh, got engaged to Mumbai-based Rukmini at a ceremony attended by close family and friends on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra earlier this month. They will tie the knot early next year.


Neil Nitin Mukesh is ecstatic about finding his life partner. He says he loves that she understands his pranks and more so as she stands for the “perfect balance” that a man would want in his wife.


Talking about his fiancee, Neil earlier told in an interaction, “I think she (Rukmini) is just perfect. She is the perfect balance that any man would want in his woman. She is simple, beautiful, loving and all the awesome adjectives I can think of. She fits them all.”


The actor, who is the grandson of legendary singer Mukesh and son of veteran singer Nitin Mukesh, is known for films like “Johnny Gaddaar”, “New York”, “David” and “7 Khoon Maaf”.
