KATHMANDU, Sept 23: The second edition of Nepal Chamber Expo 2016 started at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu on Friday.
The exhibition is being organized by Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) with the slogan of Exhibit/Explore/Demand. Japan is the partner country of the expo. Issuing a statement, the exhibition is being organized to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relation between Nepal and Japan.
The event has 220 stalls showcasing products from 13 countries. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun thanked Nepal Chamber of Commerce for taking a initiative for fostering relation between two countries. He also said the government will encourage foreign investments in Nepal. The organizers are expecting around 200,000 visitors, according to the statement.
