According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, an 18-year-old girl from Pokharia Municipality-9, Parsa, succumbed to COVID-19 on August 3. She breathed her last while being taken to Natioanl Medical Collage, Birgunj. After death, her swab samples were collected for COVID-19 test which came out positive at the Narayani Hospital.
Likewise, a 46-year-old man from Birgunj Metropolitan City-5 also died of COVID-19 today. He was a diabetes patient. He complained of fever. The deceased had tested positive for COVID-19 on August 3.
