KATHMANDU, May 4: Nepal National men’s football team is set to play an international friendly match with Chinese Taipei at Kaohsuiung, Taiwan on June 6 this year.
Nepal holds Chinese Taipei as Rijal scores first goal
The match will serve as the preparations for both the team’s second-round matches for the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifiers. The first round will start from June 6, while the second round commences from September 5.
Nepal national team head coach Johan Kalin will soon start the training for the national team.
“It’s good for us to get a game against a higher ranked team. We will work hard until the game to be as prepared as possible,” said Kalin.
