KATHMANDU, Aug 8: A two-month long training between Nepal Army and American Army has started from Monday in Kathmandu.
The statement issued by Nepalese Army on Monday states that the training will be helpful to exchange the principle, practical and special experiences for both militaries.
The statement further reads that the training will be helpful in strengthening the military capacity of both forces.
“The training will be conducted at Mahabir Battalion (Ranger) Chhauni, Kathmandu, Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School Bara and Pokhara Area, respectively, within next two months,” the statement reads.
Nepalese Army organizes joint training exercises with foreign military forces and shares their experiences with them every year.
