KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Host Nepal snatched gold medals in all five events on Wednesday during Friendly Taekwondo contest against Hong Kong.
In the matches played at Koteshwar Taekwondo Dojang, Nepali players Rejina Karki, Nima Gurung and Gyani Chunar won the gold in women's 45 kg, 49-53 kg and 53-57 kg categories respectively. Rejina defeated Yun Man Shah, Nima overcame So Yuin Tuin and Gyani outplayed Yuin Piu Yuin to bag gold.
Nepal beats Hong Kong in volleyball friendly
In the men's under 54 kg category, Tara Kumar Rayamajhi won gold for Nepal as he defeated Kyiu Yo Hin of visiting team in the final while Nishal Man Shrestha bagged gold in men's 74-80 kg category beating Chi Yong Wang.
The one-day event organized by Nepal Taekwondo Association featured seven players each from Nepal and Hong Kong.
